The Chin-Kuki group expressed strong opposition to the opposition of their decision to bury the dead #Chin-Kuki people, including many militants. However, the aggression leverage bag of dead bodies the Chin-Kuki people tried to throw at Meitei's face was nothing but pettiness and utter disrespect to the dead bodies even though many of them were former militants engaged in killing and driving off Meitei civilians.
ITLF, who hijacked the Tribal name but represents only some section of Kuki-Chin people, decided that the dead bodies of militants and civilians to be buried in Torbung Bangla where Meiteis are also living there. Of course, they were driven off by the Kuki-Chin militants on May 3rd.
One will say, ok, what's the problem? They want to give the last rite of the dead bodies, including the militants. But just scratching the shiny surface, you will find a quite rusted sinister motive. The Chin-Kuki way of aggression even employs the politics of dead bodies.
First of all, why are they keeping the available dead bodies for three months? It is understandable that some of the bodies are lying in Imphal, unfortunately, but why keep those in Churachandpur for 3 months?
ITLF exactly chose the exact government land. The area is fully composed of Meitei, Kuki and other communities. The incoming opposition was almost guaranteed, but ITLF chose anyway.
By not performing the last rites and using their deaths for politics, the show of force and threat with a rally of full combat dress and sniper rifles.
Rumble Link For Full Combat Dress Rally.
Just like dogs piss to mark territory, ITLF thought by burying those dead militant and civilian bodies, they can claim that area was for Chin-Kuki people, and every year they will organize a big rally knowing fully other communities against that idea are also present there.
This pure drama displayed by ITLF got all the attention they wanted but with zero results. However, they got to travel to Delhi to meet HM Amit Shah. Diplomatically HM asked them to go away and find some other place to bury.
The fake coffins are kept in a place. That wall shouldn't be called as remembrance but a wall of violence and hate. The fake coffins have witnessed fake last rites and crazy people like them comes up on the stage and do things, one will say CRAZY at minimum.

The strong reaction on this theatrics by the Meitei community led to an unnecessary scuffle between the security forces and brave Meira Paibis. This scuffle might be the only thing ITLF achieved. With the shield of dead bodies, the operation landmarking and encroachment on Meitei and government land was executed but failed horribly.
Anyone, even with a poppy-addicted brain, will know all this was cheap theatrics. Every Meitei dead was given due deserved last rite for their peaceful journey to heaven without any theatrics.
Chin-Kuki people and organizations with hijacked names like ITLF should stop engaging with this cheap propaganda and work on bringing peace to the strife-torn state of Manipur.
Even after all this, most media is siding with these theatric artists with a gun in their hands, even the Editors Guilt(d) India.
